Workshops provide opportunities to develop dance skills guided by professional tutors and specialist dance teachers. They cater to the learning needs of students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching artists guide beginners and experienced students to work within and extend their capabilities within a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging all students to experience dance.

For passionate Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander dance students across the North Coast area to extend their skills and connect with culture whilst being mentored by highly accomplished local dancer tutors.

Primary Aboriginal Dance Workshops – EOI
Region: Metro, Metro South and West, Metropolitan South, Regional North and West, Regional South, Rural North
This program is coordinated by the NSW Department of Education's Arts Unit and mentored by the Brolga Dance Academy. Led by a team of experienced First Nations dance tutors, students will learn through an exciting 1-day workshop about culture through movement while exploring and perform contemporary Indigenous repertoire.
