About the program
The journey began with a one-day immersive workshop in Term 4, 2025, where Year 6 students will explore the foundational elements of drama: making, performing, and appreciating. Guided by experienced NSW Department of Education drama tutors, students will engage in collaborative activities that foster creativity, confidence, and communication skills.
Dramaworks: Stage Ready not only aligns with the NSW Department of Education's curriculum outcomes but also provides a supportive environment for students to develop empathy, autonomy, and collaborative skills through the art of drama. By participating in this program, students will gain a head start in their high school journey, equipped with the tools to express themselves and connect with others through performance.
For many students, DramaWorks is a significant stepping-stone on their journey of self-discovery and enables them to work with like-minded students in focusing on delving deeper into the development of their skills. DramaWorks provides students with the skills to successfully enrich their confidence, life skills and academic abilities.
Masterclasses are delivered by a talented team of drama teachers and industry professionals to give students an unforgettable opportunity to develop new drama skills to playbuild, refine and deliver a performance.
Join us in fostering the next generation of confident and creative thinkers through the transformative power of drama.
