The Hunter Signing Choir
The Hunter Signing Choir provides social, educational and performing arts opportunities for students who are d/Deaf or hard-of-hearing within the Hunter region.
The choir supports students through promoting confidence/ positive self-esteem, broadening experiences and developing communication skills, in addition to coming together as a social youth group.

Mrs Donna Griffith, Mrs Leanne Lynch, Mrs Dianne Brown and Mr Michael Healy are the dedicated team of organising teachers and are all Hearing Teachers in the Hunter region.
In 2023, the Hunter Signing Choir celebrated their 30-year anniversary with over 120 students having performed with The Choir, offering the students some fantastic opportunities, amazing memories and wonderful long-lasting friendships.
