NSW Public Schools Junior Singers
The NSW Public Schools Junior Singers is a treble voiced choir (SSAA) and is regularly involved in performances at major events throughout the year, including the Anzac Day concerts, Opera House and Town Hall concerts, Schools Spectacular and ensembles concerts. The commitment is for the full school year and attendance is compulsory.
Applications are now open. To apply, please complete the vocal ensembles application form. Applications close on Friday 30 October 2026, 5 pm.
Rehearsal details
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday afternoons 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at The Arts Unit, Lewisham.
Annual cost
$500 per student (paid as $250 per semester)
Staff applications
Staff applications for all 2027 instrumental and vocal ensembles are now open to NSW Department of Education teachers, industry professionals and tertiary students.
Please complete the instrumental and vocal ensembles staff application form by 5 pm, Monday 5 October 2026.
Successful applicants will be notified by email on Friday 16 October.
