Bush Studio: visual arts enrichment is an invitation to students in year 3 to 6 to spend the day immersed in, and be inspired by, the unique urban bushland setting of the Field of Mars Reserve and to experiment with digital photography to make engaging and interesting artworks. This one-day workshop is designed to extend participants' creative and photography skills beyond the classroom.

Students will create a portfolio of beautiful photographs as they learn the language of photography, digital photography techniques and photo editing on an iPad. Responding to the urban bushland setting and work of Barkindji photographer Kent Morris students will learn how to remix and manipulate some of their images to create a digital artwork. Students will be given the opportunity to select one photo or artwork to be printed and framed while at the centre.

Not Just a Brush (NJAB) is a visual arts program for NSW public schools. The program includes teacher professional learning workshops and culminates in an art exhibition for Kindergarten to Year 6 students in a professional gallery at the end of the year.

This program aims to enhance the status and value of visual arts in schools and local communities. It enables students to develop skills in critiquing art and to see themselves and their peers as young artists.

Inspired by Nature is a visual arts enrichment program in the creative domain for high-potential and gifted public school students in Year 3 and 4. This one-day learning experience is held at the Royal National Park.

The one-day workshop is delivered in collaboration with a local artist and Liverpool Powerhouse, utilising art education experts from the gallery and the Arts and Initiatives Unit within the Department of Education. Workshops will focus on process-based experimentation facilitated by professional artists and school teachers with specialised skills.

This full-day workshop is an exciting opportunity for Year 12 Visual Arts students from NSW public schools and their teachers to immerse themselves in a day of creativity, inspiration and practical learning.

Led by experienced educators and industry professionals, participants will explore key visual arts concepts, gain valuable practical skills and discover new approaches to support the development of their Body of Work. The workshop will also provide practical insights and strategies to help students feel confident when discussing art criticism, art history and artists and their influence.
