McCallums Hill Public School – Inner Me
McCallums Hill Public School is located in Roselands, south-west Sydney, on traditional Bidjigal land.
Students at McCallums Hill Public School in K–2C created wonderful artworks based on the theme 'This is Me'.
They used art mediums such as painting, drawing and colouring to express their interests, hobbies and talents. They expressed themselves using abstract and realistic techniques.
These artworks were also included in the ‘This Is Us! – Connections Showcase Exhibition’ at McCallums Hill Public School, where students, teachers and parents were invited to view and celebrate the 4 bodies of work submitted by the school in this year’s digital showcase.
This exhibition was held as part of Public Education Week 2024.
What did the teachers and students have to say?
- ‘It was a great way to engage students as they could talk about their likes and interests.' – Miss Canning (teacher)
