International Jazz Day masterclasses
International Jazz Day is held globally on 30 April every year.
In 2019, the Arts Unit and the creative arts curriculum advisors, in collaboration with James Morrison and the organisers of International Jazz Day, created opportunities for students, teachers, and schools to participate. This included a composition competition for NSW Public Schools students, the development of teaching and learning materials, and filming performances for future viewing.
This resource provides lessons, activities, and masterclasses for developing composition skills.
