Dance workshops for students with disability – applications

Dance workshops for students with disability are led by the NSW Department of Education Arts Unit in collaboration with industry professionals. This exciting program is designed to give students with disability the opportunity to explore, discover and reach new physical limits whilst engaging with teachers and students from other schools.
These one-day workshops suit students in Years 3 to 12, and all disabilities are catered for. During the workshop, students and teachers will have the opportunity to discover new forms of physical expression in an engaging and supportive environment.

Term 3, Week 2
- Tuesday 5 August – Anson Street School
Term 3, Week 4
- Wednesday 20 August – Passfield Park School
- Thursday 21 August – Bankstown Public School
- Friday 22 August – Barrack Heights Public School
Workshop information
- Face-to-face workshops from 10 am to 2 pm.
- Participation fee: $35.00 per student.
- Open to all Year 3 to 12 students with disability.

Once an application has been submitted, you will have until Friday 4 July to cancel or amend your numbers.
Refund policy
If you are unable to attend the workshop, you have up to seven days to submit a refund request. Please email your request to [email protected]. Refunds will only be processed in cases of extenuating circumstances.
Attendance
The program starts at 10:00 am and concludes at 2:00 pm. Please note that this may mean your students will need to arrange alternate transport to and from school on these days in order to attend the full program. Arriving late and leaving early is disruptive to the tutors and other students in the program.
Application process
Students attending workshops with a teacher
- Up to 10 students per school can attend the workshop as a group.

- Complete this online application form, including all your students' details and contact teacher information.
- Your school will be charged a fee of $35.00 per participating student. Fees are processed as a direct debit via an Intercompany Journal (previously Sundry Tax) after the first session.
