Bandlink Riverina
To access the application forms, please ensure that you are logged in to your Google account with the Department of Education.
Led by professional tutors and experienced conductors, Bandlink Riverina involves a 2-day workshop consisting of a large concert band and smaller tutorial sessions, bringing specialised skills to country NSW students from public schools.
Bandlink caters for concert band instrumentalists (along with bass guitarists who read notation) of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Interested public school students from Years 3 to 12 are eligible to apply.
Teachers can register their bands to attend. For schools that do not have a band, students can apply independently.
2026 workshops
There are two different Riverina workshops available in 2026. Workshops run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (sign on from 8:30 am). Please choose the location and date that best suits you or your school.
- Young: Monday 23 March and Tuesday 24 March 2026 (Term 1 Week 9) Young High School
- Griffith: Wednesday 25 March to Friday 27 March 2026 (Term 1 Week 9) Griffith East Public School
Cost
- Young 2 day workshop: $70 per student
- Griffith 3 day workshop: $90 per student
- Each student must make their payment to their school labelled Bandlink Riverina workshop 2026.
- Each school will then be journaled through SAP for the payments after the event.
How to apply
Applications for 2026 Bandlink Riverina are now open. Please register by Friday 27 February (Term 1 Week 5).
- Teachers can register a group of students via the Riverina Bandlink 2026 school registration form.
- Your school doesn't have a band? No worries. You can register as an individual student by completing the Riverina Bandlink 2026 student registration form.
What to bring
- Musical instrument
- Pencil
- Instrument care kit, spare reeds, strings, valve oil, and so on, if appropriate to your instrument
- Water bottle
- Morning tea and lunch. Access may be available at the school canteen.
Please make sure that your belongings are clearly labelled with your name and that your instrument is in full working order.
