The Greater Western Sydney Public Schools Symphony Orchestra participate in a series of full-day workshops culminating in a performance at the Arts North West Choral Music Festival.

The ensemble is open to interested musicians in Years 4 to 12 from NSW public schools.

The program will take the form of 6 full-day workshops leading to a performance at the The Concourse Chatswood of the Arts North West Choral Festival.

  • Sunday 17 August (Term 3 Week 4) from 8:30 am to 2:45 pm at Penrith High School

Eligibility

To be eligible to be a part of the GWSPS Symphony Orchestra, you must be a member of either the GWSPS Concert Band or GWSPS String Ensemble.

Participation is by invitation from the GWSPS Instrumental Music Program Ensemble Director and Conductor.

Cost

There is no additional cost to be a member of the GWSPS Symphony Orchestra as this cost is covered through the students' participation in the GWSPS Concert Band or GWSPS String Ensemble.
