Inspire
To apply for the program, you must be logged into your Department of Education Google account. If you receive a 'You need permission' message, please Go to your Google account.
Inspire provides high-potential and gifted public school students in Years 3 to 6 in the creative domain with specialist training and performance opportunities.
Students in the Inspire program attend a one day workshop in their chosen elective of band, choir, dance, drama, photography or visual arts. Students will have the opportunity to exhibit and perform their work in a concert/exhibition at the conclusion of the workshop.
The photography elective is only available to Year 6 students.
The program also assists primary teachers with their delivery of creative and performing arts programs.

Nominations
Nominations for the 2026 Inspire program will open in Term 1 2026.
Schools are able to nominate up to a 5 students in each elective.
Electives for 2026 include:
- band
- choir
- dance
- drama
- photography
- visual arts.
2026 program
Date: Wednesday 1 April 2026 (Term 1 Week 10)
Time: 9 am to 3 pm
Venue: Moss Vale High School
The exhibition and performance of student work will be held at the conclusion of the workshop day at 2 pm in the school hall.
Cost: $12 per student.
Requirements: Students are to wear their sports uniform on the day and bring their morning tea, lunch and refreshments.
