Queanbeyan Performing Arts Festival (Q-PAF) is an annual variety performance showcasing the talents of over 400 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 across the Queanbeyan-Palerang area. Held at the prestigious Canberra Theatre, the festival provides students with an authentic, professional performance experience in front of a large audience.

Each year, performances align with a central artistic theme, incorporating dance, drama, vocal, and instrumental pieces. Schools prepare a 5–9 minute performance and also rehearse for an engaging whole-cast finale.

In addition to school-led performances, Q-PAF features:

  • auditioned senior and junior dance ensembles (Primary and Secondary)
  • an opening film project
  • a band ensemble (2025).

Talented students from participating schools are encouraged to audition for the festival's various extension ensembles.

Q-PAF fosters creativity, confidence, and collaboration. It is an enriching experience celebrating the performing arts while building students' skills, self-esteem, and teamwork.
