The Riverina Choral Camp is open to public school students in Years 5 to 12. A wide variety of choral experiences and activities in choral learning are the focus of the camp, allowing students to enhance their knowledge and skills in music.

The camp includes one day set aside for a short tour for the choir to perform at local schools and a showcase concert on the final day.

Camp dates: Monday 16 June to Friday 20 June 2025

Camp school tour : Thursday 19 June 2025

Camp concert: Friday 20 June 2025 at 2:00 pm in The Rules Club (Jezza Room)

Cost

Residential: $470 per for residential students. This includes all meals, 5 day choral workshop, accommodation at the Quality Hotel The Rules Club, Wagga Wagga along with day and night recreation activities.

Day student: $320. This includes morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, as well as the 5 day choral workshop and day and night recreation activities.

Payment details will be sent out with additional information to successful applicants.

How to apply

Interested students are to complete the Riverina Choral Camp student application form 2025.

All nominating students will receive an email after the closing date advising them of the outcome though it is expected that all students who apply will be accepted.

Successful nominations will receive further information including details on what to pack and how to make payments.

Confirmation of student attendance will be emailed to schools.

Applications close Wednesday 14 May 2025.

Additional program information

Students attending the Riverina Choral Camp will participate in a 5 day choral workshop, learning a variety of repertoire that will be performed in front of school students and family and friends. We are excited to have guest conductor Rachel Kelly at camp this year.

Each day and night, there are planned recreation activities for example Zumba, bootcamp, trivia and movie night.

Please note, students must attend this camp in order to be selected for the Riverina Public Schools Choir Team that will represent at State Choir and Schools Spectacular.
