The Riverina Dance Festival celebrates the achievements and dance education programs of public schools across the Riverina.  The festival features students from Kindergarten to Year 12 providing an opportunity for students of all ages, dance backgrounds and abilities to showcase their creativity and performance skills in a professional venue.

The festival is held annually in rotating regional theatres in Albury, Griffith and Wagga Wagga to enable equity of access to all students across the Riverina.

2025 festival

The Riverina Dance Festival will take place on Thursday 5 June 2025 (Term 2 Week 6) at the Griffith Regional Theatre.

There will be 2 shows:

  • Matinee: 12:30 pm
  • Evening show: 7:00 pm

Applications

Applications to audition for The Riverina Dance Festival are now open! Please complete the application form.

Items will be auditioned via a video submission uploaded to the application form. All details and requirements for the audition can be found on the teacher information site.

Participation is free. Schools are responsible for supplying any relief, travel, meals and accommodation.

Applications close Tuesday 1 April 2025 (Term 1 Week 10).

Schools will be notified of the results before the end of Term 1.
