Riverina Dance Festival
The Riverina Dance Festival celebrates the achievements and dance education programs of public schools across the Riverina. The festival features students from Kindergarten to Year 12 providing an opportunity for students of all ages, dance backgrounds and abilities to showcase their creativity and performance skills in a professional venue.
The festival is held annually in rotating regional theatres in Albury, Griffith and Wagga Wagga to enable equity of access to all students across the Riverina.

2026 festival
The Riverina Dance Festival will take place on Friday 26 May (Term 2 Week 6) at the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre.
There will be 2 shows:
- Matinee: 12:30 pm
- Evening show: 7:00 pm

Item nominations
Applications for 2026 are now open. To apply, please complete the school item nomination form.
Items will be auditioned via a video submission uploaded to the application form. All details and requirements for the audition can be found on the RDF 2026 teacher information site.
Participation is free. Schools are responsible for supplying any relief, travel, meals and accommodation.
Applications close Friday 20 March 2026 (Term 1 Week 8).
Schools will be notified of the results before the end of Term 1.
