The Sydney North Public Schools Band Program provides extension opportunities for talented musicians from public schools in Year 4 to Year 12. The program consists of two bands:

  • SNPS Concert Band (music level – AMEB grade 3+)
  • SNPS Symphonic Band (music level – AMEB grade 5+)

Membership is considered an addition to a student's participation in their school band program. It is an expectation that all students who are part of the Sydney North Public Schools Band Program remain a committed member of any music ensemble programs currently operating at their school. Students act as representatives of their school in this regional extension program.

2025 applications for the Sydney North Public Schools Band Program have now closed.
