Greater Western Sydney Primary Dance Ensemble

Region: Metro South and West Metropolitan North | Penrith
Years 5 and 6
Local arts program Dance

The Greater Western Sydney Dance Ensemble is an auditioned dance ensemble for talented dance students in Years 5 and 6 from NSW public schools from across Greater Western Sydney to develop their skills above and beyond their local school level.

The aim of this ensemble is to provide students with the opportunity to perform in an ensemble at a potential regional and state level.  The Ensemble is also aimed at catering for students who have limited access to dance ensembles at their school.

Students in the ensemble work with specialist dance teachers and other like-minded students to rehearse and perform dance works for the Western Sydney based dance festivals and audition to perform at the State Dance Festival and Schools Spectacular.
