Arts Alive Visual Arts Workshops
Arts Alive Visual Arts Workshops provide an opportunity for NSW public school students in Years 5 and 6 to be involved in an engaging, challenging and stimulating visual arts program.
The two-day non-residential workshops focus on developing knowledge, understanding and skills in the making of artworks and the exploration of a variety of media, techniques and tools in painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture and printmaking. Tuition is provided by professional artists and school teachers with specialised skills.
Schools are invited to nominate up to four Year 5 and 6 students to attend the workshops. These students are identified by teachers as high potential and talented with a keen interest in visual arts.
