Bandlink Newcastle

Bandlink Newcastle is a 2 day workshop for Year 5 and Year 6 students at NSW public schools providing an opportunity to play in a large ensemble under the guidance of professional conductors and musicians. Students learn specialised instrumental and ensemble skills which culminate in a concert at the end of the workshop.

In 2021, 4 ensembles will be created in 3 levels:

  • Advanced band
  • Intermediate band
  • Beginner band.

2021 dates

Tuesday 5 October and Wednesday 6 October (Term 4 Week 1).

9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day.


Key information

Cost – $80 (incl GST) per student

Teachers to complete the BandLink Newcastle 2021 - Expression of Interest

Participating schools will be notified of arrangements by the 10 September 2021.

Students should wear appropriate clothing to participate in a practical workshop.
