Music camps

State music camps provide students with unique extension experiences in music. Students engage with industry professionals and participate in a variety of specialised performance and workshop experiences. Each camp is aimed at NSW public school students who love music and want to spend time with other like-minded musicians.

Camden Haven

Hastings Band Camp

Program Music
Years 2 to 12
An annual camp for public school students in the Camden Haven area, which provides expert tuition and the opportunity to perform in large concert bands.
Riverwood Downs

Hunter Creative Arts Camp

Students expand their skills and experiences in the creative and performing arts.
South Coast

ISER Performing Ensemble

North Coast Music Camp

A 3-night intensive camp for vocalists and instrumentalists to participate in a main ensemble, choir and a choice of music electives, as well as recreational activities coordinated by the camp staff.

Recorder Camp

A 4 day residential music camp for students in Years 5 to 12 learning the recorder.
Wagga Wagga

Riverina Choral Camp

Program Music
Years 5 to 12
A wide variety of choral experiences and activities in choral learning are the focus of the camp, allowing students to enhance their knowledge and skills in music.
Murrumbateman

Riverina Strings and Recorders Camp

Years 3 to 12
The camp is open to students who play violin, viola, cello, double bass, classical guitar and recorder from beginner to advanced level players, including those not currently playing in a school group or orchestra.
Tathra

SCLC Music Camp

A 4-day camp for students with an interest in music and performance providing opportunities to learn, rehearse and perform repertoire facilitated by professional musicians and coordinators.
Rural and remote schools

Surround Sound

Program Music
Years 7 to 12
A band program for students in rural and remote areas bridging the gap and providing performance and mentoring opportunities to successful schools.
Taronga Western Plains Zoo

Transitions – Small Schools Creative Arts Camp

Extend skills facilitated by professional artists and artisans with like-minded peers.

Western NSW Rock Camp
