NSW Public Schools State Boys Dance Company
This program develops high-level skills in dance technique, composition and performance for talented dance students from Years 4 to 12 from public schools across NSW. The ensemble provides opportunities for students who cannot attend weekly rehearsals in Sydney to train, rehearse and perform with other students from across NSW during 4 intensive workshops in Sydney over the year.
Training is aligned to syllabus outcomes and ensemble students perform at a regional dance festival, the State Dance Festival and Schools Spectacular.
This program aims to develop students' wellbeing and technical dance skills in a supportive environment, fostering connection and expression through movement.
2026 applications are now open. Please complete the application form by Friday 13 February 2026.
Students may also wish to apply for the NSW Public Schools State Dance Company.
