The workshop is available for students from Year 7 - 12 who identify as Aboriginal and who attend a NSW Public School. It is suitable for both experienced and inexperienced dancers. Teachers can apply to bring groups or individual students who have an interest in learning and connecting to culture.

During the workshop, students will learn a range of dance and movement skills which draw on traditional and contemporary elements of cultural significance. Following the workshop, identified students will be offered the opportunity to be considered for the NSW Public Schools Aboriginal Dance Company.

We are very proud that students from this ensemble have gone on to perform and participate in some of Australias leading Indigenous arts organisations and companies.
