The Millennium Marching Band is a dynamic group with a focus on fun and entertainment. Opportunities exist within the band for instrumentalists, dancers, and rhythmic gymnasts. There is a place for everyone with energy, commitment and a willingness to learn.

Application process

  1. Complete this online application form which includes a parent/guardian signature.
  2. An email will be sent to your school principal for them to provide their endorsement of your application and involvement in the MMB.
  3. On acceptance a further form will require completion to provide further information, including medical details.
  4. Complete MMB membership payment via the TAU student payment portal.

Fees

2026 annual membership fees are $460 (inc GST) for the first child and $410 (inc GST) for every other child in the family.

We are also able to offer a participation subsidy of 25% to students from rural and remote schools to attend the NSW PS Millennium Marching Band.

The provision of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander status or gender status is voluntary, and not providing either of them will not impact on your student's participation. All other additional support information requested in this form is voluntary.

Important information

In the event of injury, no personal injury insurance cover is provided by the NSW Department of Education for students in relation to school sporting activities, physical education lessons or any other school activity. The department’s public liability cover is fault-based and limited to breaches by the department of its duty of care to students that may result in claims for compensation.

Parents/carers are advised to assess the level and extent of their child’s involvement in the activity when deciding whether additional insurance cover is required prior to their child’s involvement in the program. Personal accident insurance cover is available through normal retail insurance outlets.
