Art Matters - student registration form 2024


    Please note that the 2024 Art Matters Student Workshops will operate under the guidelines from NSW Health and the Department of Education. 

    Registration process

    1. Complete the following registration form, ensuring all medical details are correct. Please complete this information carefully.  Be sure to check your email address - this is how we will communicate with you. 
    2. Ensure the talent release permissions are read and completed.  
    3. Payment is to be made through The Arts Unit student payment portal prior to the workshop date.

    Cost

    • $60.00 per workshop
    • Payment is to be made through The Arts Unit student payment portal prior to the workshop date. Within the payment portal please select the program 'Visual Arts' and then payment for 'Local Visual Arts' which will allow you to select the relevant Art Matters program.

    Workshops

    • Yarrila Arts and Museum, Coffs Harbour (Year 7 and 8) – 16 and 17 May
    • Gosford Regional Gallery (Year 5 and 6) – 23 and 24 July
    • Gosford Regional Gallery (Year 7 and 8) – 25 and 26 July
    • Moree Regional Gallery (Year 7 and 8) – 24 and 25 September
    • Penrith Regional Art Gallery (Year 5 and 6) – 17 and 18 October

    Ensure you select the correct workshop when registering your student.

    Please note, workshop spaces are limited and bookings may close early if spaces are full.

    Parent consent

    I support my child's registration into the Art Matters Student Workshops. My child and I understand that all students participating in The Arts Unit activities are expected to abide by the Behaviour Code For Students. 

    Talent release – publishing

    • The Art Matters student workshops program will be collecting various images and video footage throughout the week to be used as archive and promotional purposes.
    • Photographs and video footage of students may be taken and recorded throughout any workshop, rehearsal, festival and the performance associated with this program or event.
    • The images and/or information obtained about your child may be published in print and online publications of state, regional and local newspapers and on national television networks, as well as The Arts Unit website and social media pages.
    • The images and/information may be used in perpetuity. 
    Permission to publish

    Please note that participation in the program is not dependent on granting permission to publish (talent release).

    Payment

    I understand full payment must be made before the Art Matters Student Workshop begins through The Arts Unit student payment portalOnce payment has been made, there will be no refunds.
