These workshops are designed to coach and provide practise in debating skills, including rebuttal, arguments, definitions, and speakers' roles. The workshops also feature games and activities, giving each student a chance to deliver a short speech with feedback. Around 3,500 students from nearly 500 schools across NSW participated in the previous year, and even more are expected this year.
Time: 9:30 am to 2:45 pm (arrival by 9:15 am recommended)
Participants: Open to teachers and a maximum of 8 students per school, with the possibility to bring additional students upon request.
Cost: $25.00 per student, debited after the event.
Requirements for students: Bring morning tea and lunch, a clipboard, and note-taking materials. Palm cards and a light morning tea and lunch will be provided for adults.
Registration: Complete the registration form or email with school details, contact teacher’s name, preferred and alternate venues, and the number of participants.

This camp is open to all students in Years 7 and 8 who attend a public school in NSW. You do not have to be enrolled in Drama as a school subject to apply.
If you are successful, the schedule will be confirmed when you accept your place. However, please use the below times as a rough guide, especially if you are travelling long distances.
Please note that this a subsidised payment for all students that partly covers accommodation, meals, room hire, performer fees and staffing.

Participants will develop practical skills and strategies for teaching visual arts. They will observe, interpret, and respond to the natural environment.
A bushwalk will provide inspiration and the opportunity for participants to observe and document the natural environment. Participants will engage their senses and express themselves across a range of media, such as printmaking and ephemeral art.
Teachers will be provided with written instructions and material lists for each artmaking activity.

A 2-day workshop consisting of large concert band and smaller tutorial sessions, bringing specialised skills to country NSW students from public schools.

School applications for the 2025 CoLab Senior Drama Workshops are now open to teachers. Applications close Friday 28 March 2025 (Term 1 Week 9).
Students are required to complete an online permission and authority to publish form by Friday 4 April 2025 (Term 1 Week 10). Students are only permitted to attend with their students group and teacher.
Teachers, are required to collect their own excursion permission forms and follow their schools excursion processes.

The Far South Coast Dance Festival showcases and celebrate dance in public schools from across the Far South Coast. An inclusive festival suitable for all levels of performance from public school students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
Festival dates: Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 July 2025 (Term 2 Week 10)
Rehearsals will be held on the morning of your performance day.

Number of dancers per item: between 10 and 30

Costs: No participation fee. Festival costs will be covered by ticket sales and grant funding.

Entry fees are $25.00 per student, which means a maximum of $100.00 per school. The fees will be debited from your school's account in due course, so please advise the relevant person in your school's office that this will occur. Note that schools submitting an entry form must pay the fee even if they subsequently withdraw from the competition.

Auditions are held via video submission to select items that best reflect the spirit of the K–12 dance syllabus.

Participation is free. Schools are responsible for supplying any relief, travel, meals and accommodation.

Government schools will automatically be debited for this amount once the local finals are complete (please advise your school’s finance department that this will occur). Non-government schools will be invoiced after those finals are complete. Please note that fees are due on entry and cannot be refunded even where students subsequently withdraw.
