The State Music Festivals consist of the Festival of Choral Music, Primary Proms and Festival of Instrumental Music. These festivals provide high-quality opportunities in the performing arts for students and teachers from NSW public schools.

We are looking for enthusiastic team members who want to form part of the artistic team (massed ensemble conductor or accompanist) or the production team (stage crew or seating team).

This is more than just a dance group, it’s an elite performance experience where students will be immersed in high-level choreography, professional rehearsal settings, and the creative process behind building a standout dance work.

The Riverina Central Choir is based in Wagga Wagga. It is open to public school students across the Riverina and consists of two divisions:

• Junior Division (Year 3 to 6)
• Senior Division (Year 7 to 12)

The ensemble delivers high quality training and performance opportunities. Regular rehearsals are held each term, along with opportunities for participation in local and state events such as the Festival of Choral Music, Primary Proms, In Concert Secondary Choral, Schools Spectacular, Opera Australia Children’s Choir, Wagga’s Christmas Spectacular.

Led by professional tutors and experienced conductors, Bandlink Western NSW involves workshops consisting of large concert band and smaller tutorial sessions, bringing specialised skills to country NSW students from public schools. 

Bandlink caters for concert band instrumentalists (along with bass guitarists who read notation) of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Interested public school students from Years 3 to 12 are eligible to apply.

Teachers can register their bands to attend. For schools that do not have a band, students can apply independently.
