Boys' Vocal Program – group application form 2024

About the program 

The three-day Boys' Vocal Program is a non-audition vocal program led by tutor Stuart Davis at Trackdown Studios for boys in years 5-12. 

  • Days 1 and 2 – students and teachers will work on vocal warm-ups, vocal techniques, ensemble singing, recording a film clip and developing an exciting harmonised repertoire.
  • Day 3 – students will record the song with sound engineers at Trackdown Studios where they will experience the recording, engineering and mixing process.

Tuesday 4 June, Wednesday 5 June and Thursday 6 June inclusive. 9:00am - 2:30pm each day. 

Trackdown Studios, Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park.

Boys Vocal Program

Program Music
Years 5 to 12
Open to male students who love to sing and want to experience what happens in a recording studio. Over 3 days, students learn repertoire, culminating in the making of a music video that accompanies the final recording.

Application process

  1. Up to 10 students per school can attend the workshop as a group.
  2. Complete the Authority to Film 2024 - Boys Vocal Program (PDF 184.04 KB
  3. Complete this online application form, including all your students' details and contact teacher information.
  4. Your school will be charged a fee of $90.00 per participating student in the 2024 NSW Public Schools Boys Vocal Program. Fees are processed as a direct debit via an Intercompany Journal (previously Sundry Tax) after the first session.

Permissions

I have emailed the program coordinator Ashley Napoeloni the names of any students who do not have permission to publish and will make my best efforts to withdraw them from photographs taken at the event.
