Boys' Vocal Program – group application form 2025

About the program 

The three-day Boys' Vocal Program is a non-audition vocal program led by tutor Stuart Davis at Trackdown Studios for boys in years 5-12. 

  • Days 1 and 2 – students and teachers will work on vocal warm-ups, vocal techniques, ensemble singing, recording a film clip and developing an exciting harmonised repertoire.
  • Day 3 – students will record the song with sound engineers at Trackdown Studios where they will experience the recording, engineering and mixing process.

Tuesday 3 June, Wednesday 4 June and Thursday 5 June inclusive. 9:00am - 2:30pm each day. 

Trackdown Studios, Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park.

Open to male students who love to sing and want to experience what happens in a recording studio.

Application process

  1. Up to 10 students per school can attend the workshop as a group.
  2. Complete the  Authority to Film 2025 - Boys Vocal Program (PDF 184.03 KB)
  3. Complete this online application form, including all your students' details and contact teacher information.
  4. Your school will be charged a fee of $100.00 per participating student in the 2025 NSW Public Schools Boys Vocal Program. Fees are processed as a direct debit via an Intercompany Journal (previously Sundry Tax) after the first session

Disclaimer

Once an application has been submitted, you will have until Friday 2 May to cancel or amend your numbers.

Refund Policy

If you are unable to attend the workshop, you have up to seven days to submit a refund request. Please email your request to artsinitiatives@det.nsw.edu.au. Refunds will only be processed in cases of extenuating circumstances. 

Attendance

The program starts at 9:00am and concludes at 2:30pm. Please note that this may mean your students will need to arrange alternate transport to and from school on these days in order to attend the full program. Arriving late and leaving early is disruptive to the tutors and other students in the program.

Permissions

I have emailed the program coordinator Ashley Napoeloni the names of any students who do not have permission to publish and will make my best efforts to withdraw them from photographs taken at the event.
