This form is open from Monday 11 March to Friday 21 June (Term 2 Week 8). The Premier's Spelling Bee is open to students in NSW public, community and central schools in two categories.

Junior Spelling Bee – Years 3 and 4 (Stage 1 welcome)
Senior Spelling Bee – Years 5 and 6

Key dates

Opening date for school entries – Monday 11 March 2024 (Term 1 Week 7)
Closing date for school entries – Friday 21 June 2024 (Term 2 Week 8)
Regional finalist names deadline – Friday 05 July 2024 (Term 2 Week 10)
Regional finals – Monday 12 to Friday 23 August 2024 (Term 3 Weeks 4 and 5)
