State Dance Festival – Audition panel nomination form 2024

Welcome to the audition panel nomination form for the 2024 NSW Public Schools State Dance Festival.

Applications close Friday 7 June 2024.

  • The audition panel will comprise primary and secondary teachers.
  • The Arts Unit, where it is deemed necessary, will meet transport, accommodation costs and relief days.
  • The audition panel will take place from Monday 8 to Thursday 11 July 2024.

Requirements

  • Successful applicants will be required to convene with the panel to review and rank nominating schools' films each day from 9am-4pm (approx).
  • Applicants will be required on the panel for 2 days. Preference will be given to applicants who can be involved for the all days outlined.
  • Primary panel Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 July 2024.
  • Secondary panel Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 July 2024.
  • Dance teaching experience is necessary.

You must have a valid Working With Children Check number.
Please include a brief description of your dance teaching experiences in schools, workshops, private dance schools at a regional/state level.
If you are successful in obtaining a place on the audition panel, please list your dietary requirements for catering; for example vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, etc. If none, type N/A.
If you successful in gaining a position on the audition panel, we will pay your school relief for your days. If you not at a school we will pay you directly a daily rate. Please list the days you work at school or whether you are on casual/maternity leave.
