Sydney North Public Schools Band Program
The Sydney North Public Schools Band Program provides opportunities for talented musicians from public schools in Year 4 to Year 12. The program consists of 3 bands:
- SNPS Concert Band (music level - grade 2 and above)
- SNPS Symphonic Band (music level - grade 3.5 and above)
- SNPS Jazz Ensemble
Membership is considered an extension of student participation in school band programs. It is an expectation of membership that students remain a committed member of any music ensemble programs currently operating at their school whilst they are participating in the program. Students act as representatives of their school in this regional extension program.
2024 applications
Applications are still open for 2024 ensembles. To apply, complete the Sydney North PS Bands application form.

Weekly rehearsals on Mondays 5 pm to 6:30 pm at Belrose Public School

Symphonic Band
Weekly rehearsals on Wednesday 6 pm to 7:30 pm at Belrose Public School
Conductor: Lemin Luu
Cost: $420 (sibling discount available)
Jazz Ensemble
Intensive rehearsals on Sunday 28 July, Saturday 17 August and Saturday 14 September at The Arts Unit, Lewisham
Performances at the Arts Alive Choral Festival (Monday 19 to Thursday 22 August) and the Manly Jazz Festival (Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September)
