Choreographic workshops will be offered for teachers across the North Coast. Workshops will be facilitated by professional choreographer Anouska Gammon – an active choreographer for NSW State Dance Ensembles and festivals, and a lecturer at Southern Cross University in Creative and Performing Arts in Education. These workshops are being timed to allow teachers to use choreographic ideas in work developed for area festivals in Term 2, 2023.

These workshops are designed to develop teachers' skills in choreographing works aligned with the dance syllabus and role-modelling choreographic process for students. The workshops will be inclusive of all choreographic experience and will empower teachers with using choreographic skills, new approaches to movement and a greater understanding of the choreographic process. These workshops are suitable for both primary and secondary teachers.
