The Central Coast Dance Festival has been successfully running for the past 31 years, providing dance performance opportunities for students in a professional theatre environment. It is open to entries from NSW public schools for students in Kindergarten to Year 12.

The festival highlights the range of styles explored through the study of dance in public schools. These performances are underpinned by creativity, confidence and respect for one another, fostered by their dedicated teachers.


2022 dates

  • Applications for the Central Coast Dance Festival will open to schools in mid Term 2.
  • Performance dates:
    • Tuesday 6 to Thursday 8 September 2022
    • Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 September 2022
  • There will be 2 shows each night. Performance times are yet to be confirmed.

General information

  • Groups to consist of a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 22 students
  • Dance is not to exceed 3 minutes for primary items and 5 minutes for secondary items.
