Far South Coast Drama Festival
In its inaugural year, the Far South Coast Drama Festival will showcase the skills and talents of NSW public school students and teachers in creating and performing drama for students from Kindergarten to Year 12
The festival encourages and supports the development of drama programs at a school level by providing an opportunity to work towards a quality performance in a professional venue.
Students will benefit from an excellent performance venue and be enthused through interaction with other drama students. This festival provides teachers with a valuable platform for encouraging drama in their schools and promoting the arts as a vital part of the school curriculum.
Tuesday 20 September 2022 (Term 3 Week 10).
Applications are now open!
All information about the festival can be found at the FSCDrF Teacher Google Site.
In more exciting news, all schools participating in the festival will also get the opportunity to experience a theatre performance by Rebus Theatre Company – an award-winning, mixed-ability theatre company in Canberra. Their performance 'At The End Of Our Street' is an interactive theatre show shaped by your stories. This will be held between 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm on the day of the festival. There is no cost to participating schools for this performance. This heart-filled performance is sure to uplift and inspire students and teachers alike!
Don’t forget to register your intention to enter the festival by completing the FSCDrF - School participation form by Friday 5 August (Term 3 Week 3).
We look forward to showcasing the drama works created in your schools!
