Riverina Central Choir
The Riverina Central Choir is based in Wagga Wagga and is open to public school students. The ensemble provides a valuable experience for choral singers, encouraging and nurturing vocalists by delivering high quality training and performance opportunities.
The Riverina Central Choir consists of two choirs:
- Junior Division (Year 3 to 6)
- Senior Division (Year 7 to 12)
2024 Details
Nominations
Nominations are being sought for outstanding students to audition for the Riverina Central Choir.
Students must be able to sing in tune, hold a separate vocal part in a multi-part harmony situation and consistently demonstrate exemplary rehearsal and performance behaviour. Students must register to attend the audition.
Audition details
Students will be required to attend the choir audition session at South Wagga Public School Hall on Wednesday 28 February 2024 (Term 1 Week 5), where they will be auditioned in groups.
- Junior Division 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm
- Senior Division 3:45 pm to 5:30 pm
How to Register
Interested students must register for the choir by completing the online Riverina Central Choir registration form by Monday 26 February 2024 (Term 1 Week 5).
Payment
Choir fees are $260 per student per year. Excursion costs are additional. Payment details will be provided once the choirs have been selected.
Rehearsals
Successful students will meet regularly throughout the year as per the schedule below.
- Junior Division 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm
- Senior Division 3:45 pm to 5:30 pm
