The Riverina Dance Festival celebrates the achievements and dance education programs of public schools across the Riverina.  The festival features students from Kindergarten to Year 12 providing an opportunity for students of all ages, dance backgrounds and abilities to showcase their creativity and performance skills in a professional venue.

The festival is held annually in rotating regional theatres in Albury, Griffith and Wagga Wagga to enable equity of access to all students across the Riverina.

In 2021 the festival was held at the Albury Entertainment Centre.

2022 Festival date

Friday 3 June 2022 (Term 2 Week 7) at the Griffith Regional Theatre.


Applications to participate in the 2022 will open Term 1 2022.

The operation of this program is contingent on advice provided by the NSW Department of Education in consultation with NSW Health. All activities will adhere to the DoE COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.
