JANE SIMMONS: Hi, I'm Jane Simmons, the drama performance officer at the Arts Unit. Today you're about to watch the show, Just Macbeth! by Andy Griffiths, a part of the Arts Unit, Department of Education, Bell Shakespeare, and NIDA partnership that we have. The Drama Company who perform this show are students who are aged from 12 to 17, or Years 7 to 12 from public schools across New South Wales.

This show is a culmination of a couple of months of intense rehearsals, a little bit of COVID absences but ultimately, the blood, sweat and tears of our students and our director, Sophie Kelly, who are taking Andy Griffiths' wonderful comic adaptation of Macbeth and turning it into something that's a lot more relatable to students across the state. We hope that you enjoy this show and the resources that accompany it. Thank you.
