NSW Public Schools Jazz Orchestra
The Jazz Orchestra is an advanced ensemble that performs at notable Sydney venues and NSW jazz festivals. They also tour to regional NSW performing and participating in workshops.

Ensemble standards
Approximate standard for our advanced ensembles (SWE, Jazz Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra) is AMEB grade 6+
How to apply
Membership is by audition and successful students become a member of their ensemble for one year. All students must re-audition every year to become a member of a weekly instrumental ensemble.
Rehearsals
Stage Band and Jazz Orchestra rehearse Tuesday afternoons, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at The Arts Unit, Lewisham.
Annual cost
$500 per student
