NSW Public Schools Stage Band is an intermediate ensemble, featuring some of the finest young jazz musicians from NSW. It provides a nurturing environment focused on performing challenging repertoire.

Approximate standard for our intermediate ensembles (SWO, Stage Band and String Sinfonia) is AMEB grade 4+

How to apply

Membership is by audition and successful students become a member of their ensemble for one year. All students must re-audition every year to become a member of a weekly instrumental ensemble.

Rehearsals

Stage Band and Jazz Orchestra rehearse Tuesday afternoons, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at The Arts Unit, Lewisham.

Annual cost

$600 per student
