[intro music]

CHRISTINE: Christine, and it's called 'Libretto.'.

DAVID TODD: OK, and what's your role in the film?

JOYAN: We're both the directors, and the producers, and the editors, and the writers. It's CAPA teachers who've written a musical, and it's been stolen by their rival school, and they're going to get it back.

CHRISTINE: We love the CAPA department. We're not making fun of them. We think they could pull off a heist very well.

DAVID TODD: [laughs]

TALIAH: They are so inspiring to us, and they have directed us down this incredible path, and they are going to be such a big impact on how we present ourselves in the career in the future.

DAVID TODD: Awesome. That's really nice. I'm glad to hear that. What about you?

TALIA: I play Miss Juliey. I'm a drama teacher. I think what I got inspired the most was how extra drama teachers are.

DAVID TODD: No!

TALIA: As a drama student, I see it every day, and I appreciate it. So I decided to put that into my performance.

DAVID TODD: Absolutely. We loved it, and what about your character?

IMAIA: I'm Miss Velon in the thing, and I'm a music teacher, and compared to the drama teachers, it's far more laid back and a bit more relaxed but also more structured. So you definitely see how Miss Velon has the plan.

DAVID TODD: What about your character?

RORY: I was Guard Number 3. It was a very last-minute role. It was still fun and even though I didn't have that many lines, I still really enjoyed the role and getting knocked out.

CHRISTINE: People we are surrounded with, our friends and stuff, they make a lot of similar jokes. So we're just used to that type of humour.

JOYAN: I don't know. I find it really fun hanging out with people who all want to complete a goal. It's just really nice.

CHRISTINE: Hardest, I think it's the amount of time spent on it. But after it's over, it feels like it's not enough time. It's just really fun to do.

[gentle music playing]
