INSTRUCTOR: Hello, or konnichiwa in Japanese, and welcome to this At The Arts Unit creative class. Today we will be exploring the world of famous Japanese artist and print maker, Katsushika Hokusai. We will be diving into his artwork, The Great Wave of Kanagawa, and exploring art making techniques, including perspective and colour theory. We will round off our Japanese inspired lesson by creating a Haiku poem to represent our artwork. Now get ready to ride the waves.
