[intro music]

BLAIR: Hi, I'm Blair.

EVELYN: And I'm Evelyn.

BLAIR: And today, we're going to be teaching you the 'Bush Boogie.'

EVELYN: So first of all, you're going to start by just stepping to the side 2 times and then go to the other side. And then you can add a click every time you step. So 1, 2, 3, 4. And then do that again. 2, 3, 4.

BLAIR: Next, you're going to do the same thing with your feet, but you're going to be bringing your hands up with your jazz hands up to that way.

EVELYN: OK. And then from there, you want to get your hands out. You go 1, 2, cross over, and then bring your arms out like you're welcoming everyone, and then just give it a little bit of a shimmy. So go one arm out, second arm out, and bring your arms together over your chest, and then bring them back out together. And they're sitting, do a little bit of a shimmy.

BLAIR: So we're going to put all of those moves together now. So it's going to go 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2.

EVELYN: Arms up.

BLAIR: 2, 1, 2.

EVELYN: 1, 2. And then one arm, two arm, across your body, open out.

BLAIR: And a shimmy.

EVELYN: So now we're going to put it to some music. Hit it.

[music - nicola watson, 'bush boogie']

(SINGING) Bush boogie, it's the sound of the groove. Bush boogie, let your body move. Fish or a fly, bird up in the sky, the bush is where we belong.

EVELYN: Good luck, guys. Hope you enjoyed this dance.

BLAIR: Have fun doing the bush boogie bonanza!

EVELYN: Bonanza!
