Transcript – Lismore South Public School - Growth

[school bell rings] [upbeat music playing]

STUDENT 1: Hey, short guy.

STUDENT 2: He's so small.

STUDENT 3: Look at him. He's so short, he wouldn't even be able to play basketball.

[upbeat music playing]

STUDENT 4: This is boring. I want to play piggy in the middle.

STUDENT 5: You're in the middle.

[heavy music playing]

[melancholy music playing]

FRIEND: Hey, Ben, even though you are short, you are better at other things, like math or games and hide-and-seek, just to name a few.

BEN: Well, that's right. Everyone's amazing in their own way. And you know what I'm going to do? I'm about to kick their butts in hide-and-seek. You know what? I'm going to kick your butt in hide-and-seek.

STUDENT 1: Yeah, right.

BEN: Let's see. I'll hide, and you try to find me.

STUDENT 4: 2, 3, 4.

[suspenseful music]

Found you. Found you. Where are you? I can't find you. You win. Come out.

[victory chimes]

BEN: That's a you problem. It pays to be small.

STUDENT 4: My eyes are burning.

STUDENT 6: Exactly, bro.

BEN: You did-- we shouldn't have been so mean to you. You did a good job of hiding.

STUDENT 1: Let's play again. [upbeat music playing]

BEN: Thanks for the encouragement. We need to remember that everyone is special in their own way.

FRIEND: You're welcome.
