MILLIE: Hi, my name is Millie, and I am in Year 2 at Kiama Public School. My artwork is titled 'Catterns', a word merge of 'cat' and 'patterns'. I created it on Dharawal land. I created my artwork by using coloured pastels on black card. Originally, I spent some time developing how to draw a cat. It took 4 draughts to perfect it.
I love art, and creating the patterns for the background flowed naturally through my fingertips. I am happy that it will be gifted to the Children's Hospital at Westmead, because it will put a smile on children's faces.
