DEMIANA: My name is Demiana Abdelmalek, and I am a Year 6 student from St John Vianney's Parish Primary School at Doonside. My artwork is titled 'Sea Life', and I created it at school on Dharug land. I used watercolours and glitter as my medium and was inspired by my love of sea creatures.
I feel the artwork gives a calming sensation, and I hope that the people who view this at the Children's Hospital in Westmead can feel some of this tranquillity too. I'm very pleased to say that this was an incredible experience knowing it can brighten up someone's day.
