If you have marked your scenes using a clapperboard for each take you will find it much easier to edit your footage when you have completed it. Next, create a workflow for editing; this will help you keep track of the right scene in the right place.
Promotional copies are short texts designed to promote a film to its potential audience members, encouraging them to see the film.
Think about your audience. Friends? School? Community? Neighbours? You can use posters with QR codes to link to your film and keep talking about it. The more people that know about it, the more people will watch.
Will it be a movie day at school? A sleepover? A community event? A cinema? Think about the size of the file. Is it better as a link or on a portable hard drive like a USB stick, or does it need to be converted into a cinema-quality file?
It’s really important to look at how to make your film accessible to everyone. Consider adding closed captions, transcripts, and alternate text on photos used in promotional content.
