Aboriginal Dance Company – permission form 2024

This form will collect permissions for the 2024 NSW Public Schools Aboriginal Dance Company for the first two weeks of rehearsals.

Week 1: Monday 2 September to Friday 6 September

Bangarra to IGA for lunch

Permissions cover both Week 1 and Week 2 of rehearsals.

Please complete the permissions for your child to walk independently to the IGA across from Bangarra Dance Theatre to purchase lunch. Please note that the scheduled lunch breaks may vary from what is on the schedule due to rehearsal requirements. Students will not be supervised if walking to the IGA. Students are encouraged to bring their own recess, lunch and water.

Walking to the IGA

I give permission for my child to walk independently to the IGA during scheduled lunch breaks. I understand they will not be supervised during this time.

I do not give permission for my child to walk to the IGA during scheduled lunch breaks. I understand they will remain on Wharf 4/5 for lunch.

Bus transport from Bangarra to the Seymour Centre

Permissions cover Wednesday 18 September and Thursday 19 September

Please complete the permissions for your child to catch a private bus from Hickson rd, Dawes Point to the Seymour Centre, Corner of City rd and Cleveland St, Chippendale on Wednesday 18 September and Thursday 19 September.

I give permission for my child to catch the private bus with the Aboriginal Dance Company from Hickson rd, Dawes Point to The Seymour Centre, Chippendale on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 September.

I will collect my child from Hickson rd, Dawes Point and transport them to the Seymour Centre for the rehearsals.

My child is in the associate program and not required on this date.

Broadway Westfield

Permissions cover Thursday 19 September and Friday 20 September

Please complete the permission for your child to be supervised during break times at Broadway Westfield or picked up by a carer and returned to the Seymour Centre at the conclusion of the break. There is no option for students to stay at the Seymour Centre during break times. Please understand, the meal breaks will be between shows and students will be supervised on the walk down to Broadway by the ADC Ensemble Manager and the ADC Wellbeing Officer. Students will only be able to access the food court level. The specific break times will be communicated to all company members closer to the event.

I give permission for my child to walk from the Seymour Centre to Broadway Westfield with the Aboriginal Dance Company manager for the meal break.

I will collect my child from the Seymour Centre and accompany them during the meal break.

My child is in the associate program and is not required on this date.
