Central Coast Drama Festival
The Central Coast Drama Festival is an opportunity for Central Coast public schools to showcase selected drama items in a professional theatre.
The festival will provide opportunities for students to build knowledge, skills and understanding of performing and appreciating in drama, by creating a journey of excellence for students not only at school level, but beyond. This festival promotes the excellence of the arts and build connections with communities from the Central Coast and surrounding areas.
2024 date
Thursday 12 September (Term 3 Week 8)
- 9 am to 5 pm (technical and dress rehearsals)
- 6 pm (performance)
This is a combined primary and secondary festival.

How to apply
Registrations are now open!
- Please complete the online Central Coast Drama Festival 2024 registration form.
- Registration interest close Thursday 25 July (Term 3 Week 1)
The festival is focusing on the process and the performance. We are gathering registered entries to put the performances together. You are not required to have a performance ready and recorded prior to this registration. Your intention to participate is all that is required at this stage. Based on the interest for the festival we will endeavour to include all schools. If we require to run an audition panel with submitted videos you will be contacted. You will be required to submit a video of your piece closer to the festival for assistance in developing a suitable program.
