The South Coast Dance Festival is open to NSW public schools for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

The festival strives to provide a performance platform that:

  • showcases the outcomes of dance education in schools
  • provides an opportunity for schools and the wider community to recognise dance as an art form
  • presents an original, entertaining and professional event, which provides a positive and memorable experience for both teachers and students.

The 2022 South Coast Dance Festival was held from Wednesday 1 June to Saturday 4 June at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre, Wollongong.

Congratulations to all schools who participated in the festival on a fantastic showcase of dance.

Further information for the 2023 South Coast Dance Festival will be made available in Term 1 2023.
