Volunteers

The Schools Spectacular highlights the dedication and talent of students while providing a special opportunity for community involvement through volunteering. Volunteers play a vital role in the event’s success, taking on key tasks to ensure everything runs smoothly. Their contributions help create a seamless and unforgettable experience, leaving a lasting impact on the community and supporting young performers.

We are looking for bubbly, outgoing, and proactive volunteers to be part of this exciting event! If you love working with people, enjoy high-energy environments, and are eager to help behind the scenes, we’d love to have you on board.

Volunteers are required during show week, from Tuesday 25 November 2025 to Saturday 29 November 2025. Full availability across the five days is not mandatory—you can specify the days you’re available through the application form, and we’ll work to accommodate your schedule.

Tasks completed by volunteers may involve:

• ushering performers and audience members
• assist with merchandise and catering backstage
• set up directional, event, and evaluation signage
• assist with SpecFest, the outdoor festival that accompanies Schools Spectacular

To be eligible to be a volunteer at this event you must:

• be over the age of 18
• have a valid Working With Children Check
• be available during show week.
