School groups nomination

Individual students nominating for the Signing Choir and not attending as a school group are required to submit the Individual student nomination form.

Teachers from public schools may nominate a group of students in Years 4 to 12 by submitting the form below.

All nominations are due by Friday 1 August 2025.

Students are not required to audition; all students who apply will be accepted into the choir.

Students are required to have some Auslan experience.

I have discussed this application with my school principal, including discussion around the dates of rehearsals and performances, and have their support to submit this application.

I understand that there is a participation fee of $37 per student (inc. GST) to participate in the Combined Schools Signing Choir and this will be direct debited from my school in early August, once final numbers have been submitted.

I understand that students must be supervised at all times whilst participating in the Combined Schools Signing Choir.

The school understands that no relief days are provided for school groups performing in the Combined Schools Signing Choir - all relief for teachers and aides from participating schools is the responsibility of the schools.
