Senior Drama Ensembles

Ensemble members have the opportunity to be part of exciting industry partnerships, enriching and extending their skill base in drama and fostering career pathways.

How to apply 

Applications for the 2025 Senior Drama Ensembles are now open until Friday 14 February 2025.
Auditions will be held at The Arts Unit in Lewisham in Term 1. Preparation is not necessary.

Fees – $395
Fees cover the hire of regular tutors and industry professionals for intensive workshops, a Drama Ensemble t-shirt, and the sourcing and supply of costumes from professional designers for ensemble performances. Students will need to cover their travel and/or accommodation costs if needed. All prices include GST.

Your commitment

For successful students obtaining a position in the drama ensembles program, a full commitment to the program must be made. Students will attend weekly rehearsals after school hours on Wednesdays and some Sundays at The Arts Unit, Lewisham.

Auditions

  • Wednesday 5 March 2025, 5 pm to 7 pm
  • Sunday 9 March 2025, 2 pm to 4 pm
  • Wednesday 12 March 2025, 5 pm to 7 pm

Callback auditions 

Students will be notified after their open audition whether or not they are invited to the callback audition on Sunday 16 March and Wednesday 19 March, 2025.

Weekly rehearsals

Senior Drama Ensembles begins on Wednesday 30 April 2025 (Term 2 Week 1).

Wednesday rehearsal times are 5 pm to 7 pm.

Sunday rehearsals will take place from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday 15 June, Sunday 21 September and Sunday 19 October 2025.
